2016 Ford Flex Body Repair and Painting Services
DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS
The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO) 9 is conducting market research to identify vendors capable of providing body repair and painting services for a 2016 Ford Flex. This is not a solicitation, but an RFI to gauge industry interest and capability. The scope of work includes furnishing all parts, installation, and labor for the body repair of one 2016 Ford Flex, license plate VA 24273, located at the Alvin C. York VA Campus. The vehicle has accumulated 102,382 miles and requires body work due to the condition of its 9-year-old wrap, which has become baked on, cracked, molded, and peeled. Repairs will involve removing and replacing necessary parts, stripping and priming the entire vehicle as needed, and ensuring all labor, parts, and service fees are included in the contract cost. The contractor will accept the vehicle "as is" and is responsible for providing a warranty on parts and labor. Any required services beyond the contract scope must be reported to the Contracting Officer within 24 hours, along with a written estimate for the repairs. Repairs are to be performed according to the contractor's shop schedule, with no overtime responsibility for the Government.
