MK 109 Mod 1 Canopy Jettison Rocket Motor (CJRM)

The Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Weapon Systems Support is seeking eligible contractors capable of manufacturing the MK 109 Mod 1 Canopy Jettison Rocket Motor (CJRM), identified by NSN 1377-01-454-9321 and DODIC SS67. This is a Sources Sought notice to gauge industry interest and capability. The government possesses the necessary data for manufacturing this item and intends to solicit for its procurement through full and open competition. The solicitation will be available on SAM.gov. First article testing, production lot testing, contractor data requirements list, and FOB origin apply. Delivery schedule is to be determined. Pre-award safety surveys will be required due to the explosive nature of the item, and relevant DFARS clauses will apply. Procurement is competitive, with a first article testing requirement as required. Drawings are NOT available on CD. Items are explosive. A Safety Survey will be required.
