Runway 31 Safety Area Improvements

The Laurel Airport Authority is soliciting bids for the Runway 31 Safety Area Improvements project. Bids will be received until 11:00 a.m. Local Time on May 28, 2026, at the Laurel Airport Authority office located at 112 Base Drive, Laurel, MS 39440. A pre-bid conference will be held on May 21, 2026, at 1:30 p.m. in the Airport Board Room. Bidders must be qualified under Mississippi Law and possess a Certificate of Responsibility when appropriate. Official bid documents can be obtained from www.sd-wprojects.com. All planholders are required to have a valid email address for registration. Electronic bids can be submitted in person or electronically via www.sd-wprojects.com. Bids must be accompanied by bid security equal to 5% of the bid amount, in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or a bid bond from a company licensed in Mississippi. The successful bidder will be required to execute a standard form of contract and agreement, along with a 100% performance bond and a 100% payment bond, within fifteen (15) days after the formal award of the contract. The Airport Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities, and hold bids for up to sixty (60) days.
