Special Education Instructional and Support Services

The Bastrop Independent School District (BISD) is soliciting proposals from highly qualified providers for a range of special education professional services. These services include, but are not limited to, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology (with bilingual services available), Nursing, Educational Diagnostician services, School Psychology services (LSSP), Sign Language Interpretation, and Language Translation. Proposals can be submitted for one or multiple service categories. Vendors must demonstrate current Texas licensure/certification, credentials, and specific experience with school-aged children with disabilities. All services must adhere to professional standards and comply with all applicable federal and state laws, Texas Education Agency requirements, and District policies. Proposals are to be submitted electronically through Beacon Bid and must include an Executive Summary, Service Area Documentation, Company Background, Claims Disclosure, Key Staff information, and acknowledgement of Terms and Conditions. Awards will be made to vendors offering the best value to the district, with qualified vendors being recommended for Board approval on a monthly basis. The solicitation will remain open until May 29, 2026, with submissions accepted and evaluated continuously.
