Description

Northern Water, on behalf of the Rocky Mountain Purchasing Group, is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) to identify qualified laboratories capable of providing comprehensive water quality analytical services. These services will support extensive water quality monitoring, compliance, research, and project-related sampling programs. The scope includes routine analysis of surface water, groundwater, stormwater, and investigative samples, with a need for flexibility to address unplanned studies and emergent concerns. The agency typically collects 80 to 100 samples per month, each with approximately 28 constituents, requiring low-level detection limits and rigorous QA/QC for long-term trend analysis. Laboratories are expected to provide details on their accreditation, QA/QC practices, turnaround times, sample handling procedures, data reporting capabilities, and pricing structures. The RFI documents are available on the Rocky Mountain-E-Purchasing System (RMEPS).
