Description

The United States Air Force Band is seeking specialized transportation services for the shipment of approximately 10-15 pallets of cargo, including musical instruments, personal luggage, and fragile audio/production equipment, to Oslo, Norway, for the Norway Military Tattoo. The services required include secure pickup, palletization, climate-controlled transport as needed, white-glove handling, and time-definite delivery. The contractor will be responsible for all customs requirements, including ATA Carnet documentation and ISPM 15 compliance, and must carry full insurance coverage for the total value of the shipment, estimated at $350,000. The pickup from Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling is scheduled between August 21-24, 2026, with delivery to Oslo Spektrum Arena on or before August 29, 2026. The return shipment pickup from Oslo Spektrum Arena is scheduled for September 12, 2026, with delivery back to Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling no later than September 26, 2026.
