The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) is seeking consultants to provide on-call engineering services for operational improvements across various districts. This includes evaluating and addressing traffic inefficiencies through analyses such as approach delay, intersection delay, network delay, capacity analysis, and crash data analysis. The scope also encompasses safety data collection, review of best practices, and identifying projects for national and state funding. Non-engineering work will involve stakeholder coordination on operational and safety perceptions of proposed improvements. The prime consultant must be prequalified by GDOT in specific area classes, including Traffic Operations Studies and Design, and Non-Motorized Transportation Planning. Sub-consultants must also hold relevant prequalifications. The anticipated RFQ issuance date is June 5, 2026, with a Statement of Qualifications due on July 14, 2026.
