Annual Backflow Assembly Testing, Maintenance, and Compliance Verification Services
DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS
This solicitation is for annual testing, maintenance, and compliance verification of 93 backflow prevention assemblies located at the VA Southern Oregon Rehabilitation Center & Clinics (VA SORCC) in White City, Oregon. The services are required to prevent potable water system contamination and ensure compliance with regulations from the Medford Water Commission, Oregon Administrative Rules, and VHA Directive 1061. The contractor will be responsible for inventory and verification of all assemblies, performing annual testing using approved methods, conducting corrective maintenance for failed assemblies, and reviewing installation compliance. The Mojave Monitor dry vacuum system requirement has been removed. Repairs now require approval from the VA SORCC with a quote from the contractor. Testing must be performed by a state-approved and certified Backflow Assembly Tester (BAT) with proof of valid calibration for their equipment. Documentation and reporting to the Medford Water Commission and the VA SORCC are also required.
