Laundry and Linen Services for Jonathan M. Wainwright VA Medical Center

Wainwright VA Medical Center requires a contractor to provide comprehensive laundry and linen services, including all labor, supervision, management, transportation, equipment, chemicals, supplies, and facilities for full-service textile processing. Services include twice-weekly pickup of dirty linen and delivery of clean linen, with a standard turnaround time of no more than 72 hours and emergency turnaround available upon request. The contractor must use chemicals appropriate for healthcare linen and comply with VHA Directive 1850.03, OSHA regulations, Joint Commission standards, and Association for Linen Management (ALM) industry standards. The estimated weekly workload ranges from 6,000 to 9,000 pounds. The VA owns all linen and garments.
