2026 CIPP Lining Project

The City of Ankeny, Iowa is soliciting bids for the 2026 CIPP Lining Project. This project involves the trenchless rehabilitation of existing sanitary sewer collection mains throughout various neighborhoods within the city. The scope of work includes traffic control, public information and notification, cleaning, video inspection, service and obstruction locating, sewage bypassing, removing obstructions via trenchless methods, verifying sanitary sewer service reconnections, cleanup, and other associated work. The contract is expected to commence after a Notice to Proceed is issued, no earlier than May 19, 2026, and no later than June 30, 2026. The overall project completion is scheduled for January 31, 2027. Liquidated damages of $500.00 per calendar day will be assessed for work not completed within the designated contract term. Payments will be made based on estimates, with 97% of work completed during a payment period, and the remaining 3% retained until project acceptance. A sales tax exemption certificate will be provided for materials incorporated into the project.
