This project involves the rehabilitation of approximately 10.14 miles of gravel roads within the Agassiz National Wildlife Refuge. The work includes stripping and leveling existing gravel, installing geogrid, and spreading new Class V gravel to create a crowned surface for proper drainage. Specific segments include Webster Trail Road (1.39 miles), Northgate Road (3.75 miles), and Westgate Road (3.1 miles), all 14 feet wide. Additionally, Northwest Pool Road (1.52 miles) will receive 2 inches of Class V gravel. Lost Bay Wildlife Drive (0.38 miles) requires shoulder and ditch bank rebuilding using clay fill and topsoil, with seeding and erosion control blankets. All materials, including geogrid, gravel, and fill, are to be provided by the contractor. Work must be completed by October 16, 2026. Equipment must be cleaned pre and post entry to prevent the spread of noxious and invasive species. The project magnitude is estimated between $500,000 and $1,000,000.
