Hennepin County Charter Bus Services

Hennepin County is seeking charter bus services for transportation to events throughout the county on an as-needed basis. This service will typically involve picking up groups of students or community members and transporting them to a Hennepin County facility or site for a tour or field trip, followed by transportation back. The county requires pricing for full day (4+ hours), half day (under 4 hours), school bus, full coach bus, and mini-coach bus services. Additionally, bidders must provide pricing for wheelchair lift buses if available. Most trips are expected to be under 100 miles roundtrip, with an option for an additional mileage fee for longer trips. Buses are generally scheduled with 15-30 days advance notice. All drivers must be appropriately licensed in Minnesota, pass background checks, and have a clean driving history. The contract period will be two years from the date of award, with potential for extension.
