Roof Replacement Design Services

The Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) Capital District DDSO is seeking design services for a roof replacement project at 596 Spier Falls Road, Greenfield Center, NY. The scope of work includes providing professional services for the design of roof replacement documents, including drawings and specifications, for approximately 5,000 square feet. The selected design consultant will be responsible for adhering to all relevant New York State codes and OPWDD design standards. Deliverables include 30% and 90% completion documents for review, followed by final construction documents for permitting. The consultant will also provide two sets of blueprints upon completion and a detailed schedule for design services. A probable construction cost estimate, including a design contingency, is required at the 100% submission phase. The project is expected to be completed within 60 days of receiving the purchase order, and the residence will remain occupied during the work, requiring the consultant to safeguard residents and staff. Attendance at a mandatory site visit on May 15, 2026, at 9:30 AM is required. Questions are due by May 19, 2026, at 2:30 PM.
