Water Meter Inventory Request for Proposal

New Braunfels Utilities (NBU) is soliciting sealed proposals for the purchase of water meters. These meters are intended for use in residential, commercial, and industrial applications within NBU's water distribution system. The RFP requires respondents to supply meters in various sizes, provide technical support, and maintain detailed records of meter features, manufacturing origins, and warranty information. Specific technical requirements include compatibility with the Itron 500W endpoint system, compliance with AWWA and NSF/ANSI standards, lead-free construction, and a minimum of a ten-year warranty. Proposals will be evaluated based on cost and warranty, lifecycle and features, delivery service and support, and the firm's history and references. The anticipated contract term is one year with up to four one-year renewal options.
