Aluminum Grating Fabrication and Delivery

This solicitation is for the fabrication and delivery of T6061 aluminum grating with a solid aluminum cover and a non-slip epoxy surface coating. The grating will be used to replace existing corroded steel grating in the Water Treatment Lab (WTL) and is intended to cover a trench that is 31 inches deep, 41 inches wide, and 92 linear feet. The grating must support a live load of 150 pounds per square foot and be designed by a professional engineer licensed in the State of Colorado. The epoxy color shall be Armor Garage "Light Gray (#D5D3D0)" or equivalent. The project includes site measurements, fabrication drawings, fabrication, and delivery of the grating panels. Exclusions include removal of existing steel grating, structural modifications, and underlying surface repairs.
