MPA 623 Retail Energy Suppliers for Electricity and Natural Gas

The State of Rhode Island is establishing Master Price Agreement (MPA) 623 to pre-qualify suppliers of retail electricity and natural gas. These suppliers must be registered with the State of Rhode Island Public Utilities Commission. The goal is to create a pool of qualified suppliers for extended periods, streamlining the process for future energy pricing events. Vendors already awarded under solicitation OEV23002884 do not need to reapply. Vendors must demonstrate active registration with the Rhode Island Public Utilities Commission, provide audited financial statements and annual reports, and detail their experience as an energy supplier, including capabilities in billing services, online portals, and the sale of renewable energy certificates or carbon offsets. A minimum of three relevant client references are also required. Proposals will be evaluated on a pass/fail basis for licensing, financial statements, experience, capabilities, references, and services proposed.
