The Town of Goffstown is soliciting bids for the construction of five outdoor pickleball courts at Roy Park. This project involves creating recreational facilities from an undeveloped area, adhering to USA Pickleball standards. The scope of work includes minor drainage improvements, subgrade preparation, base gravel installation, asphalt court surfacing, fencing, nets, posts, court painting and striping, player seating areas, and ADA-compliant access pathways. The project also requires construction area restoration, including fine grading with loam and seed for stabilization. Key responsibilities for the selected contractor include maintaining safety protocols, implementing erosion control measures such as silt fence and mulch berms, and constructing stormwater drainage infrastructure including swales, drain inlet basins, pipes, and headwalls. The asphalt court surface must be free from irregularities and allow for proper slope, with no standing water. A paved path compliant with ADA standards will also be constructed. The project requires a one-year warranty correction period for all workmanship, equipment, and materials. Closeout documentation, including equipment warranties, must be submitted within 7 days of project completion. Work is preferably to be completed by October 31, 2026.
