Weld County, through its Department of Human Services Child Welfare division, is soliciting applications from agencies and organizations qualified to offer a range of professional child welfare services. These services are intended to support children and families involved in the child welfare system within Weld County. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, aftercare, anger management/domestic violence services, crisis intervention and stabilization, day treatment, foster parent consultation and training, functional family therapy, home-based intervention, home studies, kinship services, life skills training, mediation, mental health services, multi-systemic therapy, nursing consultation, relinquishment counseling, sexual abuse treatment, substance abuse treatment, and substance monitoring. Agencies are expected to adhere to specific program requirements, including workload standards, performance standards, and staff qualifications. All personnel providing professional services must meet minimum qualifications, including relevant degrees and licensure, and undergo background checks. Services must be provided in a culturally appropriate manner, with a focus on equity and inclusion, and providers are encouraged to be Medicaid-eligible or in the process of becoming so.
