Veterinary Services for Animal Pound

The City of Medicine Hat is soliciting proposals for veterinary services to support its Animal Pound Services (APS). This includes providing medical care, ensuring animal welfare, and meeting regulatory requirements for animals housed at the City's Animal Pound. The selected veterinary service provider will work under the direction of a licensed veterinarian, as required by Alberta regulations, to support the on-site Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) in carrying out delegated tasks. Services will be provided on an as-needed basis, both on-site and off-site, to ensure humane, timely, and compliant care for all impounded animals.
