Mitel Phones and Accessories for SUNY Upstate Medical University

SUNY Upstate Medical University (Upstate) intends to purchase Mitel phones, accessories, and supplies by utilizing Sourcewell contract 120122-MBS. This procurement is authorized under New York State Finance Law, section 163 (3) (vi), which allows for the use of a consortium or comparable entity without a formal competitive process if justified by price. Vendors who sell equivalent and compatible phones, accessories, and supplies to Mitel products are invited to contact Jim Robinson to discuss this procurement. Equivalency and compatibility must be demonstrated, and vendors must provide supporting documentation, software, transportation, set-up, removal, and equipment for examination, demonstration, and trial at no cost. This procurement is subject to NYS Finance Law §§ 139-j & k (Lobbying Law), and the only permissible contact is Jim Robinson. Contacting other individuals at Upstate may violate this law and could result in no contract award or debarment. Successful contractors will be required to submit applicable documents related to Vendor Responsibility, NYS Public Officers Law, NYS Finance Law §§ 139-j & k, and New York State's Tax Law Section 5-a, as well as valid and current NYS "Workman's Compensation and Disability Forms."
