Description

This opportunity provides guidance to State Workforce Agencies (SWAs) through Fiscal Year 2028 and announces the grant allotments for FY2026 foreign labor certification grants. The purpose is to ensure that U.S. workers are notified of available job opportunities, that U.S. employers can meet their labor needs when qualified U.S. workers are not available, and that foreign workers are provided fair wages and working conditions. SWAs are eligible to apply for these grants, which are intended to support various foreign labor certification activities such as reviewing and posting job orders, conducting housing inspections, and performing wage and practice surveys. The grant expenditure period for FY2026 FLC State Grants is October 1, 2025, to September 30, 2028. The total estimated program funding is $23,282,000, with award ceilings of $2,211,046 and award floors of $5,000. Applications must be submitted electronically by June 13, 2026.
