Description

The New York State Department of Economic Development (ESD) Division of Tourism is seeking a qualified contractor to represent the state in the Australia and New Zealand markets for travel and tourism promotion. This five-year contract will involve developing and implementing marketing strategies, including trade representation, media relations, consumer outreach, and general representation services. The goal is to increase awareness of New York State as a travel destination, facilitate the development of tourism products beyond New York City, and enable the travel trade to successfully sell New York State vacations. The contractor will be responsible for tasks such as managing partner marketing promotions, executing paid consumer advertising, generating earned media through public relations, and providing strategic counsel on international travel industry trends.
