Description

The Medicine Bow National Forest, part of the USDA Forest Service, is seeking a skid-mounted high-pressure jetting and cleaning system. This system will be used to clean culverts ranging from 18 to 24 inches in diameter and up to 60 feet in length. The system must be skid-mounted and include a clean water storage tank, a gasoline engine, a high-pressure pump, a hose reel for pipe jetting, an antifreeze storage tank, a soap tank, and a separate hose reel for pressure washing. Components should be made in the USA and assembled on a steel frame with a footprint not exceeding 6'x12'. Key specifications include a water tank capacity of 300-400 gallons, a low water shutoff feature, a powered hose reel with 300' of 1/2" jetting hose rated at 16,000 PSI burst pressure, and a separate power wash system with 100' of 3/8" pressure hose. The unit must also include an anti-freeze system with a 10-15 gallon tank and a soap injection system. The gasoline engine should be fuel-injected with a power rating between 35-45 HP and electric start. The system requires a high-pressure pump with a flow rating of 10-14 GPM at 4,000 PSI, belt-driven with bypass capability. A remote control for engine start and emergency stop with a 300' operating range is also required. The solicitation specifies that all items must have clear traceability to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), and offerors must provide a Certificate of Conformance (COC). One training session and Operation, Service, and Parts manuals are included in the scope.
