Description
The University of Wyoming is requesting qualifications for design-build services for the deconstruction of White and Downey Halls. This project includes material haul-off, utility relocation, and grading. The buildings to be deconstructed are Downey Hall (85,360 sq ft total, 8,500 sq ft below grade) and White Hall (132,050 sq ft total, 13,900 sq ft below grade). A hazardous materials assessment will be made available during the Request for Proposal phase. Preference will be given to Wyoming resident firms or businesses, or a resident firm with a non-resident associate with required qualifications. The agreement to be used will be the "Agreement Between the Trustees of the University of Wyoming and Design-Builder (Design-Build)". Submissions should include firm name, business address, telephone number, email address, associated firm information, personnel assigned, types of services provided, experience relative to services required, similar projects with references and contact information, availability of personnel and equipment, present volume of work and anticipated completion dates, clear indication of residency, description of intended compensation (without a fee or fee schedule), and proof of liability insurance. The University reserves the right to rank respondents based on qualifications without interviews.
