Description
The Eielson Air Force Base is seeking a turnkey, fully integrated F-35 engine run simulator. The system must replicate the engine start sequence, emergency scenarios, and fault codes, as well as the physical characteristics, dimensions, and articulation of a true F-35 cockpit. The simulator must be a compact design, fitting within a standard ISU-90 footprint (max dimensions 70"Lx45"Wx60"H), operate on standard US power (110VAC, 60Hz), and be constructed of commercial/industrial-grade materials. Key hardware requirements include a power control panel with specific switches, an articulating throttle box, functional foot pedals, a touch-screen Panoramic Control Display (PCD) capable of rendering accurate F-35 cockpit data and responding to simulated emergencies, a visually representative ejection seat, a functional flight control stick, a parking brake switch, an engine run switch, and a V-BIT switch. The system must include internal computing hardware for seamless, lag-free operation and be capable of stand-alone, air-gapped operation without requiring a DoD network connection. A perpetual software license is required, with routine software patches and bug fixes provided at no additional cost during the warranty period. The system and its manufacturing must comply with ITAR standards. Delivery is F.O.B. Destination to Eielson AFB, AK. The requirement includes on-site installation, configuration, a comprehensive "train-the-trainer" operator training session, commercial operating manuals, basic troubleshooting/maintenance guides, and a minimum 24-month warranty on all hardware and software with dedicated technical troubleshooting support.
