Description
This notice of intent indicates a sole source procurement for a tower lease to support the continuous operation of Government-owned seismic detection equipment at the Beaver Creek Array and Pedro Dome locations. These sites are critical components of the United States Atomic Energy Detection System (USAEDS) mission. The contract will include a one-year base period and four one-year option periods. The specific requirements include a land lease for a 1,200 sq. ft. fenced-in concrete pad at the Pedro Dome Site, providing 24/7 unescorted access for Government personnel. At the Beaver Creek Repeater Facility, the contractor shall provide a lease for 20 square feet of indoor equipment space, continuous and uninterrupted electrical power (available 98% of the time monthly, supporting up to 72 kWh per month, with backup generator activation within one hour of an outage), and ensure the equipment location is free from moisture and complies with OSHA standards. The contractor is responsible for all generator maintenance and refueling. Equipment damaged due to negligence will be the contractor's responsibility to replace.
