Description
The City and Borough of Juneau is soliciting proposals from qualified Appraisers, who are on the State of Alaska Department of Natural Resources list of qualified appraisers, to provide appraisal services. These services will estimate the annual market value of private property under conditions of lease offered by the City and Borough of Juneau through individual Project Agreements. Each Project Agreement will be limited to a maximum award of $10,000. The intent is to select up to two term contractors. The initial contract period is from July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027, with an option to renew for three additional one-year periods. Appraisers must conduct onsite inspections, provide photographs, and include comparable land data and location maps. Reports must be submitted electronically and adhere to the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP). The contract may also include analyzing lessee appraisals and providing briefings to the Docks & Harbors Board. Subcontracting requires written authorization, and appraisers must be licensed and on the State of Alaska's list of qualified appraisers.
