Description
The U.S. Department of State, Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL), is seeking a qualified U.S. citizen to serve as an INL Coordinator in Nassau, The Bahamas. This Personal Services Contractor (PSC) position involves managing foreign assistance programs focused on counternarcotics, anti-transnational organized crime, citizen security, and criminal deterrence projects. The role requires program management services including design, development, planning, budgeting, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation. The INL Coordinator will be responsible for day-to-day management of the INL Nassau office, serving as the primary contact with Bahamian law enforcement and justice sector officials. Key duties include assessing opportunities for institutional capacity building, advising on policy and technical law enforcement matters, and overseeing programs and budgets. The position requires independent judgment, strategic planning, and extensive experience coordinating complex initiatives involving regional institutions, partner governments, and U.S. agencies. The contract period is twelve months with four one-year optional extensions.
