Description
Littleton Elementary School District #65, located in Avondale and Tolleson, Arizona, is seeking proposals for Hearing Officer Services. The district serves approximately 6,000 students and employs 650 staff across nine K-8 schools and one administrative complex. The selected vendor will be responsible for presiding over hearings, ensuring adherence to state statutes, district policies, and board discipline codes. This includes listening to cases, questioning parties, and making decisions regarding student discipline, suspensions, and potential expulsions. The hearing officer must be unbiased, disinterested, and independent, with no personal or professional conflicts of interest. The contract is intended to cover multiple years, with a total not to exceed $100,000 over the course of the quote, and will end either June 30, 2031, or when the contract amount reaches $100,000, whichever occurs first. Vendors must accept purchase orders, and all purchases require a District-issued Purchase Order prior to any services being rendered.
