Description
This solicitation is for grounds maintenance services at the Hells Canyon National Recreation Area (HCNRA) seven-acre compound in Riggins, Idaho. The services include landscape maintenance of lawns, trees, shrubs, and green debris cleanup. Periodic tasks involve brush and fine grass trimming, tree pruning, sprinkler system startup in the spring, and blowing out sprinklers at the end of the irrigation season. The contract will be a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) service contract with one base period and four option years, totaling a potential of five years. The scope of work covers both irrigated and un-irrigated areas. The lower flat, approximately 3 irrigated acres, requires regular mowing, edging, trimming, and pathway/parking area maintenance. The upper flat, approximately 4 un-irrigated acres, requires periodic maintenance of native vegetation, including trimming around RV areas, barns, and outbuildings. Seasonal tasks include pruning apple trees and servicing the sprinkler systems. Short-notice grounds maintenance services are also included, requiring daily service within five days of notification.
