Description
The Town of Killingly, Connecticut is soliciting proposals for tree and stump removal services for a project located at 226 Putnam Pike. The scope of work includes clearing and removing trees and stumps along a 50-foot wide, approximately 1,500-foot long emergency access road. Bidders are required to submit proposals for base bid tree and brush clearing/disposal, and alternate bids for stump removal/disposal and stump removal/stockpiling. The selected contractor will be responsible for all costs associated with the work, including permits (except those required by the Town of Killingly, which will be waived), erosion and sedimentation controls, manpower, equipment, disposal, and transportation. The project is anticipated to begin within 15 days after contract signing, with a completion deadline of 45 calendar days from the notice to proceed.
