Description
The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Forest Service, is seeking 22 bear-resistant dumpsters that meet all requirements outlined in the Statement of Work. These dumpsters must be approved by the Interagency Grizzly Bear Committee (IGBC) and be constructed of American-made steel. Key specifications include a 4 cubic yard capacity, dimensions not exceeding 90 inches wide, 60 inches deep, and 65 inches tall. The dumpsters must be made of 10-gauge steel for the body and lid, with 10-gauge steel for lifting pockets, and 12-gauge for gussets and latch covers. They should not have a drain hole, must be zinc primer coated, and have a brown powder-coated or TGIC polyester exterior finish. The dumpsters are to be dual front-load with gravity release lid latches. Delivery is required to the Saint Anthony Work Center, 499 N 2400 E (Teton Hwy), St. Anthony, ID 83445. The vendor must contact the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) three days prior to delivery to arrange for a forklift, and deliveries must be made Monday through Friday. The solicitation is set aside for small businesses.
