Description
The 51st Fighter Wing Communications Squadron at Osan Air Base, South Korea, is seeking to replace an existing Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) system. The current UPS, an EATON 9395 installed in November 2012, is at the end of its life and requires replacement to prevent outages affecting mission requirements. The new UPS must utilize the existing batteries (120x C&D Technologies 12V109AH VRLA) and occupy the same room space as the current unit. The new system must be capable of providing uninterrupted power to connected information technology and security systems during the 3-10 second transition period when the facility's power generator engages after a commercial power loss. The scope of work includes site survey, procurement of the new UPS unit, removal and disposal of the current UPS, necessary building or power modifications (potentially including transformer adjustments), installation, system testing, and integration with the facility's power generator. The contractor will be responsible for providing operating and maintenance manuals, technical datasheets, detailed wiring diagrams, service tickets, and training for the facility manager on operating the new UPS. A one-year warranty on all materials and workmanship from the date of acceptance is required.
