Description
The Department of the Army is seeking information from potential sources capable of developing a Frequency Inverter-Converter for the 3 kW Tactical Quiet Generator (TQG). This effort requires integration of the inverter-converter into a Government Furnished 3 kW TQG, meeting standard military requirements for environmental durability and endurance. Respondents are asked to provide a capability statement addressing their company overview, current status regarding inverter-converter availability or development, experience with power electronics, design and engineering capabilities (including PCB design, IGBTs, and optocouplers), production and manufacturing capabilities, testing and validation capabilities (environmental, MIL-STD 810), and security clearance levels. A Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) cost estimate is also requested, broken down into Non-Recurring Engineering (NRE) costs, production costs for initial prototypes, and developmental test costs. This RFI is for market research purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation. Responses are due by July 11, 2026. Proprietary information should be clearly marked and submitted securely via DoD SAFE.
