Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is conducting market research to determine an acquisition strategy for electrical power distribution equipment testing, inspection, and maintenance services at the Louis Stokes VA Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio. The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary for on-site testing, maintenance, and annual preventative maintenance inspections of the facility's electrical power distribution equipment, adhering to NETA standards. Services include substation and transformer maintenance, circuit breaker maintenance, ground resistance testing, infrared scanning, medium voltage relay testing, control power battery maintenance, transformer oil testing, and participation in a 4-hour power outage test. The contractor must also provide detailed written reports of all work performed and maintain a qualified and experienced workforce with relevant certifications and safety training.
