Description
This solicitation is for the procurement and installation of one Computerized Numerical Control (CNC) Press brake for the sheet metal shop (X17, Bldg. No. A47) at the US Naval Ship Repair Facility Yokosuka and Japan Regional Maintenance Center (SRF-JRMC). The CNC Press brake must be a current production model capable of precise bending operations with repeatability, using predetermined bending data. It must be compatible with existing CAD/CAM software and tooling, and include a standard one-year commercial warranty. The contractor must have a local Japanese dealer network for maintenance and repair parts. Installation includes operational testing, operator training, and all necessary labor, materials, and supervision. Key specifications include a minimum press capacity of 600kN with servo-electric drives, a minimum table length of 2130mm, and a minimum throat depth of 430mm. The control panel must be a CNC control with a color LCD touchscreen, supporting Japanese and English languages, and capable of direct communication with AMADA AP100 and VPSS software. The equipment must also comply with applicable OSHA and EPA regulations, and noise emissions should not exceed 85 dB(A) at the operator's position.
