Description
This solicitation is for the procurement of replacement seawater strainers for the Valiant Class Tug Fleet (YT-807) operated by Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka (CFAY) Port Operations. The requirement is for brand-name Kraissl products, specifically: one 1.5" Model 72-38F Duplex Strainer, one 2" Model 72-40F Duplex Strainer, four 4" Model 72-48F Duplex Strainers, and two 2.5" Model 72-16FL Simplex Strainers. All strainers must be B-61 Bronze with Monel 400 baskets and 1/32" perforations, conforming to ASME B16.24 standards. These are direct, one-for-one replacements for existing, end-of-life components to ensure proper fit and function within the tugboat's seawater cooling systems. Delivery is required by November 21, 2026, to Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka, Port Operations, Building #5203, FPO AP 96349-0030, or the commercial address in Yokosuka, Japan. The government will evaluate offers based on price reasonableness and past performance.
