Description
San Jacinto Community College District (SJCCD) is seeking qualified firms to provide comprehensive moving services. This includes the relocation of office furniture, computer workstations, records management systems, laboratory supplies and equipment, and general office effects. The contractor will be responsible for coordinating and transporting specialty or high-value items such as grand pianos, safes, oversized equipment, and laboratory equipment, potentially utilizing approved subcontractors. Services also encompass the disassembly and reassembly of furniture, including modular systems and metal shelving. The contractor must provide all necessary supervision, personnel, equipment, vehicles, and packing materials. A written plan for each move, developed by the contractor and approved by SJCCD, will be required. The contractor is responsible for protecting all college property, including walls, floors, and elevators, from damage during moving activities, and for repairing or replacing any new damage found after a move is completed. Responses are due by July 2, 2026.
