Description
The Department of Water Resources (DWR), Division of Flood Operations (DFO) requires side-lifting and roll-off transportation services for loaded and unloaded shipping containers. These containers will be used to transport flood fight materials such as burlap sandbags, plastic sheeting, and wooden stakes to various locations across the State of California. The service will be provided on an as-needed basis. The contractor must be capable of transporting 20ft Conex containers, 21ft roll-off containers, and 40ft Conex containers. Specialized equipment, including a sidelifter and a roll-off truck, will be required. The contractor will be responsible for providing operators, fuel, lubricants, and consumables for the transportation equipment. Services are expected to align with DWR's standard work hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with availability for emergency work outside of these hours.
