Description
The Defense Logistics Agency is soliciting for one new Up Cut Saw to replace an outdated machine that is maintenance-intensive and lacks necessary safety equipment. The contractor shall provide all labor and materials to construct, deliver, and place into operation the new saw, ensuring all equipment is new from the manufacturer's most current production and compliant with all OSHA, federal, state, and local codes and regulations. The saw must be equivalent to a Vista Machines M2424 MITER Up Cut Saw and include features such as 208-volt, 3-phase, 60-cycle electrical operation, a 10hp TEFC motor, a programmable 16ft material positioning system (TIGERSTOP), and automatic clamping. The contractor is responsible for all transportation and shipping, connection to existing electrical and ventilation systems, installation, and providing one 8-hour training session on safe operation and preventative maintenance. Final acceptance will be performed by personnel at the receiving location.
