Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking to procure eleven (11) compact floor scrubber/vacuum/dryer units equipped with dual disk brushes. These units are intended for the Environmental Management Service (EMS) department at the Malcolm Randall VA Medical Center in Gainesville, FL. The machines are needed to enable EMS staff to clean floors quickly and efficiently in small or hard-to-reach areas where larger scrubbers cannot operate. Each EMS location requires its own unit to ensure exclusive use within its designated service area. The equipment must have a minimum cleaning path of 24 inches, a minimum 1.25-gallon solution tank and 2-gallon recovery tank, an offboard battery charger, a brush speed of up to 350 RPM, and be capable of cleaning up to 24,000 sq. ft. per hour. The units must also feature rear wheels for easy movement and the ability to scrub, vacuum, and dry effectively.
