Description
The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Horticultural Research Laboratory in Fort Pierce, Florida, requires a high-density single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) marker panel service for genotyping Florida Pompano. This service includes pooled whole genome sequencing of 5 pools of 10 samples each, followed by panel development for SNP identification and filtering across the genome. The final step involves a validation of the panel's performance and informativeness using a genetically diverse set of samples. The USDA will assess the performance and effectiveness of the SNP panels before payment. The SNP panel is expected to be delivered 8 months after award to the USDA facility in Fort Pierce, Florida.
