Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, James A. Haley Veterans' Hospital, requires the installation of a camera system monitoring solution for the VA Police Secure Communications Center (SCC). This project aims to upgrade and bring online facility camera viewing and monitoring capabilities at five workstations within the SCC. The contractor will be responsible for providing turn-key services, including design, project management, and installation of the SCC camera system. This includes installing existing VA-supplied equipment such as servers, server racks, switches, computers, and monitors. The system must integrate with VideoEdge software, the Victor unified client, and VuWall software. The contractor will also be responsible for upgrading operating systems on eight Dell Precision 5820 workstations, running necessary cabling, activating the system, and providing a one-year warranty on the work performed. All installation must be performed by a licensed and bonded company with at least three years of experience with the products being installed. The contractor must coordinate all deliveries and installations with the FMS Projects COR, providing at least 24 hours' advance notice for deliveries. A post-award site visit within seven days of award is required to gather accurate measurements and verify existing conditions. The contractor must also ensure all staff adhere to JAHVH safety protocols and maintain a professional appearance.
