Description
The Surgery Service at the C.W. Bill Young Veterans Medical Center is seeking to replace its existing ophthalmic ultrasound equipment with a new Ellex Absolu Ultrasound System. This includes the console, various specialized probes (50 MHz linear, 15 MHz B-scan, 20 MHz annular, A-scan biometry), DICOM software, a dedicated ultrasound cart, and clinical applications training. The system must be a fully integrated, dedicated ophthalmic platform capable of supporting posterior segment, anterior segment, and biometric ocular imaging from a single console. It must support simultaneous compatibility with all specified probes, allow plug-and-play interchangeability, and provide real-time high-resolution imaging with advanced measurement and annotation functions. Biometry requirements include integrated A-scan capability for axial length measurement and IOL calculation, with native DICOM connectivity for PACS/EMR systems. Onsite installation, training, warranty, and OEM technical support are also required.
