Description
The City of Laconia, New Hampshire is soliciting bids for the construction of the Weirs Boulevard Bridge over Langley Brook. This project involves replacing the existing bridge superstructure with a precast concrete clamshell box culvert. The scope of work also includes the replacement of sewer (gravity and force main) and water mains, as well as roadway approach work extending approximately 108 feet north and 135 feet south of the bridge. Bids will be accepted on a unit price basis. Prospective bidders must be prequalified by the NHDOT with classifications in bridge and/or bridge rehabilitation, road, water, and sewer. Documentation of this prequalification must be submitted to Josif Bicja or Donna Akerley at Hoyle, Tanner & Associates, Inc. no later than three business days prior to the bid opening. Bids will not be accepted from contractors not on the specified NHDOT prequalified list. Bidding documents are available in electronic format (.pdf only) at no cost by emailing Donna Akerley at dakerley@hoyletanner.com. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is Hoyle, Tanner & Associates, Inc., 150 Dow Street, 5th Floor, Manchester, NH 03101. A pre-bid conference is optional and will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at 10:00 AM.
