Description
Macon-Bibb County is soliciting sealed bids for Paving The Way Project 8, a roadway paving and resurfacing project. The scope of work includes full-width milling to the depth of the asphalt being placed, patching up to four inches deep, and paving with 12.5mm and 9.5mm Superpave asphalt. The project also includes milling and paving at side road intersections and the ends of curb radius. Driveway paving is not included. Compaction tests are not required to be submitted to Macon-Bibb County. The contractor is responsible for clipping and removing shoulder material. All work must be completed within 150 calendar days following the receipt of all necessary railroad permits. The county encourages participation from Minority, Women Owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises.
