Description
Baker County, Georgia is soliciting bids for the 2026 LMIG Road Improvements project. This project involves patching and resurfacing approximately 3.99 miles of Josuli Road, from Cross Road to Joe Heard Road. The scope of work includes 375 tons of road patching by milling existing road and replacing with 4 inches of 19 mm Superpave Asphalt, 2,040 tons of leveling with OGI, and 3,200 tons of asphalt overlay. Additional work includes traffic control, shoulder clipping and grading, tack coat, primer, and striping. Bids will be received until 11:00 a.m. prevailing local time on July 21st, 2026, at the Board of Commissioners office located at 439 GA-91, Newton, Georgia 39870. Bidding documents can be obtained from the Engineer, Reliable Engineering, LLC, for a non-refundable fee of $300 for paper sets or $100 for a downloadable PDF file. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of not less than five percent of the bid amount.
