Description
The Board of Trustees of the Edinburg Consolidated Independent School District (ECISD) intends to receive proposals from interested vendors for Property & Casualty Insurance. This solicitation seeks a two (2) year contract with an option for a three (3) year extension, renewed annually. The contract may be terminated with sixty (60) days notice on each anniversary date. ECISD emphasizes a policy of non-discrimination based on sex, age, handicap, religion, race, color, or national origin in its educational programs. Payments will be made on the District's regular payment schedule. The successful bidder will be given a reasonable time for delivery; purchase orders over thirty (30) days old are considered unreasonable, and ECISD reserves the right to review delivery performance and re-award if unsatisfactory. Responses are highly recommended to be submitted electronically via the provided system to expedite the process and minimize errors. Manual responses will be accepted if received by the close date and time, but no emailed or faxed responses will be accepted for manual submittals. Vendors submitting electronically will be automatically notified of addendums via email. Those submitting manually must check the ECISD website (www.ecisd.us) for any addendums or additional information.
