Description

The State of California, through the High Speed Rail Authority and the Department of General Services, is seeking to lease approximately 82,774 net usable square feet of office space in the City of Sacramento. The leased space must include parking, with one exclusive space equipped with Electric Vehicle Service Equipment (EVSE). Properties submitted must be asbestos hazard-free upon occupancy, comply with State plans, specifications, seismic safety, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and applicable codes (California Building Code & Title 24). Proximity to public transportation is required, and compliance with Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) requirements is mandatory. The State will give preference to buildings demonstrating LEED or Energy Star compliance where cost-effective. The State anticipates future capital construction in Sacramento and intends to reduce its leased space footprint over time. Property owners or their authorized agents must respond by the response date with the property's address, a map, and the project number.
