Description
The Department of War (DOW) intends to procure a commercial general-purpose excavator to support engineering, earthmoving, and base operation tasks. The equipment must meet specific minimum requirements, including a Stage V engine, a minimum operating weight of 17,500 kg, and a tail swing radius of no more than 1,850 mm. Key features include a rearview monitoring system with a camera, a pipe-fracture safety valve, and an automatic air conditioning system. The excavator should be equipped with a two-piece boom, a stick, and various attachments such as a quick coupler, a digging bucket with a rotary motor, a bucket separator, a branch and hedge trimmer, and a hydraulic grab bucket. Specific technical requirements for each attachment are detailed, including dimensions, capacity, and hydraulic specifications. The offer includes a 36-month or 3000-hour warranty, whichever comes first. Training on operation and maintenance will be provided after delivery. Technical documents, including operating and parts manuals, will be required in both English and German.
